History
Lentz Services evolved out of Lentz Landscape Lighting in 1990. At that time, we saw a great need to do for the inside of people’s homes what we were already doing for the outsides – making them look and function at their very best.
In the last 20 years we have done that and more, by employing electricians and technicians who are among the most capable in the metroplex. Along with their expertise and professionalism, they bring vision, inspiration and a deep desire to keep learning about the industry, especially as it pertains to the environment.
Our Team
At Lentz Services, we take pride in our people. Our electricians and technicians are as professional as we have found anywhere, and they truly “know their stuff.” We also make sure they have an aesthetic eye for those projects that require a little imagination. Cleanliness and good manners are also job requirements, as is humility. After all, it takes a special man to pull off wearing disposable booties over his shoes.
Once you meet your service professional, go ahead and get to know them. Chances are good they will be handling your future needs as well. Unlike most companies that send out whomever is available, we believe building relationships and getting to know each other creates win/win outcomes for all.
Along those same lines, all communications will be with an actual Lentz representative -- whether you are scheduling an appointment, receiving a reminder call the day before, or a follow-up call the day after making sure you are happy. Because your satisfaction is always our first priority at Lentz Services, we do not foresee automating those simple interactions anytime soon.
Green Commitment
Today there is much emphasis on going green. More than ever now, homeowners are feeling it. There are certainly many incentives to do so.
One of those is through Oncor Electric. Because Lentz Services is an Oncor-certified provider, if we replace your current lighting with LEDs, you may be eligible for rebates.
Replacing outdated appliances, air conditioners or HVAC systems with high-efficiency ones has its own rewards, too -- in the form of lower monthly energy bills. But not only is it good for you, it reduces the carbon footprint of your home, which is good for all of us. If you are in the market for one of these, our trained technicians can advise you on the best one.
Additionally, Lentz Services is compliant with a federal mandate to phase out R22 refrigerant (for AC units) and replace it with R410A. As more and more environmentally friendly business policy kicks in, rest assured we are on top of it and will always do the right thing -- both for you and the planet.
